It has been such an exhausting summer with countless scorching days, but the air has already become chill in the morning and evening. When I look up, even the sky looks high and clear, so it seems fall is close. I have been complaining a lot about hot summer days, but why do I feel so gloomy when I think summer is almost gone and fall is coming? 😓
Was it because I couldn't enjoy it enough for many reasons? As I miss outdoor festivals that I still couldn't see this year, I feel this August somewhat bitter about the upcoming fall. But it would be such a waste to spend the rest of the summer like this! 😤 So, I've collected live videos that could bring you to live music festivals after long-searching here and there. Defqon.1 Festival
Defqon 1 Festival is one of the largest dance music festivals in Europe held annually in the Netherlands since 2003.
There are 14 stages the 250 artists play throughout the weekend, and people from all over the world gather every year to enjoy their powerful electric dance music, such as hardcore techno, hard house, and hard trance.
I brought a live video of Defqon.1 2019 that makes you feel you were at the festival site. While watching the video, it was a nice surprise to see the giant Korean flag flying in the middle of the audience, and there was something written on it that makes me even smile. 🤣 You should look it up, too!

Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland is one of the world's largest EMD festivals in Belgium. More than 400,000 people from all around the world come to Belgium every year to watch 1,000 performances. I can't even imagine how big it is. Tomorrowland is famous for not only its amazing lineup but also its colorful, magical atmosphere and stages, where you can feel like you are in some other world. If you're an EDM fan, it should be on your bucket list. (Tip! Tomorrowland also broadcasts the festival live on Facebook, so you don't need to go far.)
This video is a Tomorrowland closing show of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, a Belgian DJ duo, and Steve Aoki, who is an American DJ, record producer, and famous for collaborating with various pop musicians such as Linkin Park, Black Eyed Peas, BTS, and Monster X.

Ultra Music Festival
Ultra Music Festival, which takes place every March in Miami, Florida, United States, is known as the kick-starter for the EDM festival season. This festival gets EDM fans excited the most every year, and you can enjoy the performances of the world's top DJs on 8 stages. Also, many new artists debut their music during this festival and draw attention that summer. The Ultra Music Festival, which started in Miami, has successfully expanded internationally to South Africa, Singapore, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Korea.

EDC Las Vegas
EDC Las Vegas is also considered one of the biggest EDM festivals in the world. Besides performances, there are plenty of things to do and see that might give you happy tears, such as various fairground rides, lighting shows, and art exhibitions. It is one of the best festivals in the world, with performances of the world's best DJs, including Calvin Harris, Diplo, Martin Garrix, Zedd, and Tiësto. EDC has been held in other states and abroad, including Mexico, Puerto Rico, the UK, Brazil, Japan, and India. Currently, the main festival is held in Las Vegas annually, along with festivals in Orlando, China, and Mexico.
I brought the performance of Tiësto, the world's best DJ and producer, who also performed at the 2004 Olympics opening ceremony in Athens.
He has had live shows several times in Korea.

Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza is a four-day music festival held annually in Chicago. You can enjoy various genres of music from alternative rock to heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop, and electronic music. In addition to the performance, Lollapalooza has also featured visual arts, interactive activities, and a mini-fest for children.
It is considered one of the longest-running in the United States held festivals even in Santiago(Chile), São Paulo(Brazil), Buenos Aires(Argentina), and Europe.

The Governors Ball Music Festival
The Governors Ball Music Festival is a well-known music festival held in New York City with the New York City skyline. You can enjoy almost all genres of music, including rock, electronic, hip-hop, indie, Americana, pop, folk, and more, as well as various activities, games, and foods from restaurants and food trucks representing New York.
We won't be able to enjoy the night view and food in New York City right now, but we can feel the festival through the video.

Montreux Jazz Festival
The Montreux Jazz Festival, held for about two weeks every July in Montreux, Switzerland, is one of the leading European festivals and the second-largest jazz festival after Canada's Montreal International Jazz Festival. At first, it started as a festival only for jazz. However, now you can enjoy various genres of music, including blues, rock, reggae, and soul, and international singers have performed at the festival, such as Phil Collins, B.B. King, Bob Dylan, and Sting. Tom Misch, a British musician who had shows in Korea several times with a wide fan base, properly crossing various genres and times of music from 1980s punk to modern electronic, also played in the Montreux Jazz Festival 2019.

Hiphopplaya Festival
The finale of the Home Festival is Hip-Hop! We have to jump having the most fun till the end of the festival, don't we?
The Hiphopplaya Festival, called "Hipplepe" among Korean hip-hop fans, is held every April at Nanji Han River Park in Seoul. The blind tickets were sold out in 2 minutes in 2018, and tickets were sold out for the first time at a hip-hop festival in 2019. There are many performances by talented hip-hop musicians, including Nafla, Giriboy, Nucksal, BewhY, Penomeco, SUPERBEE, and more. Since it also presented live painting performances of Korea's top graffiti artists, it has become a festival for everyone, not only for hip-hop fans. Unfortunately, it hasn't been held for two years due to Covid-19.
Let's watch the Hiphopplaya Festival 2019 live and look forward to the day when we can enjoy it in the Han River again.
