Hello. It is Editor L.
Have you read 'Christmas Decorations to Buy in 2021' from Editor K? We had a small Christmas party with all the decorative items we bought last month and ornaments that editor K has collected for a long time. In this article, I will share every detail of how and where we had our early Christmas.

Table Styling - Decorating with Items Look Like Taken Out of an Old Cabin
Editor K and I chose the theme of this Christmas party as 'Vintage Christmas at an Old Cabin.' So, we brought Christmas decorations and ornaments we've collected and new-bought items.

The key to this Christmas party is a rustic cabin style decorating with clumsy hands. So we just tossed ornaments you don't even know how old they are, wood candle holders, colorful string lights, and old-fashioned decorations between food and wine.😁

Tree Area Styling - the Essential of the Christmas Decoration
-
When it comes to Christmas decorations, a must-have is a tree. The place we rented had a concept of a cabin in the city, and a Christmas tree was already there. We added large Christmas stockings and gift boxes to make it look fuller. We also turned the hanger on the right into a hanger-man(?) instead of making a snowman with Editor K's old ugly sweater and knit hat.

I made gift boxes using the wrapping papers and ribbons bought from Daiso. But I had a pretty hard time with that red wrapping paper in the photo above. The tape wouldn't stick!!! You can see the behind-the-scenes story on Editor K's brunch channel.

Ugly Sweater Editor K's Ugly Sweater is not available anymore since she bought it a long time ago. Instead, I recommend 'Million Archive,' where you can find various ugly sweaters. It is a vintage shop that has a variety of sweaters and accessories.

Fireplace and Wall Styling - Using All the Left Decorative Items
-
We hung two garlands layered on the top of the wall where projected a movie, The Grinch. And we also decorated the small fireplace and a speaker underneath with the rest of the ornaments and items. The fireplace we had was for the interior, not the actual fire, so it was safe to put things on it. But I don't recommend placing anything on it if your fireplace has real flames.
After decorating other places, I set the rest of the ornaments in rustic galvanized tin baskets. It's easy but much prettier than I thought. 🤗

We couldn't decorate and light up the fire outside since it has been raining all day...! But still, we successfully had our Christmas party styling and enjoyed our early Christmas with a glass of wine and stollen. After having wine inside and working hard, we felt hot. So we both went out to the rooftop and enjoyed a little break with hot chocolate.
The venue where we had our party looked more like a cozy hut or attic in the countryside of the mountain rather than a complete mountain lodge. And It made our heart and day excited. I hope you all have a fun and merry Christmas, which is just around the corner. ✨ (On the below, I have the link for the venue for those who need it.)
